The Antenna Technicians Association is an Association of Professional Television Antenna Installers who abide by a code of conduct, operate Registered Businesses and carry Public Liability Insurance.

Serving the Viewing Public of Australia - protecting the Industry.

Membership is open to all Installers in Australia who meet our membership criteria.

The Holmesglen Conference Centre has been our "home" for a little while now. The Conference Centre is a part of Holmesglen College of TAFE located in Chadstone, an eastern suburb of Melbourne.  While based in Victoria, the Association has members in all of the eastern States and the Northern Territory.

The Conference centre is easily accessed using the South East Arterial Road for East-West traffic or Warrigal Road for North-South traffic.  Free, off street parking is available in the Car Park adjacent to the Batesford/Warrigal Rd Intersection.  Enter via the driveweay in Batesford Rd, opposite the large hamburger outlet.  The entry code can be entered on the keypad at the boom gate, simply enter the code to gain access to the car park.

There is a café on the College premises.  The Mathew Flinders Hotel  is on the diagonally opposite corner of the intersection.  You can get cheap meals at the family restaurant on the other corner of the intersection.  Come and join us for dinner between 6.00 to 6.30 pm at Zagame's Restaurant, inside the Hotel.

THE NEXT MEETING OF THE ASSOCIATION WILL BE AT 8.00pm Tuesday AT HOLMESGLEN.

The gate code for the NOVEMBER 2000 meeting is:

 1412E

WHO ARE WE?

The Antenna Technicians Association Incorporated, is a Trade Body, founded in 1985 and dedicated to increasing the public awareness of the value of having a quality Television aerial product installed by a professional tradesman, increasing the general standard of installation practices in the industry and representing the concerns of members to Local, State and Federal Governments.

In an effort to increase members profiles, we are now placing summaries of member's businesses on this site.  If you would like to judge whether any particular members business suits your needs, you will find links to these summaries on the membership listing page.  If there is no link button beside their name, we are yet to receive or install their synopsis.

The Association is constantly working toward developing this homepage. You can send us mail at ata@netspace.net.au or at one of the specific email addresses for the committee.

You can view our membership listing on this site. You might like to consider selecting a nearby member, for a professional TV antenna installation.

If you would like more detail about the Association, it is available, here. Office holders of the Association are open to any contact to discuss matters such as joining the Association, work practice standards, training schemes, reports of poor work practices in the industry and will provide information on our internal procedures in the event that you have a problem with one of our members. You might even like to tell us of your good experiences with our members.

The Association conducts Distance Learning course for members and other interested persons who wish to improve their skills in the antenna field. The distance learning course is designed to be undertaken in conjunction with "on the job" training, such as you would have if you were working as an unskilled installer, in the industry. Ideally, your employer is a member of the Association who can assist you as you work through the course. In other cases, the training coordinator can provide some limited assistance by way of explanations, where you are in unfamiliar territory. Please read through the introduction to the training course. If you are interested in this course, there is an application form available to be downloaded and forwarded to us.

We are developing a closed area for Members only information.  CLICK HERE to enter.

We are maintaining a list of links which you may find useful.

Working with RABS Satellite Service: Need the application forms? Adobe Acrobat Reader required for the PDF version or they are available in RTF Format.
